Chairperson of Kuwait Society for Ideal Family (KSIF) Shaikha Fareeha Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has participated in the launch of Arab Woman Code and inauguration of Arab Family Ambassadors in Dubai, UAE .
Speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) following the launch which was sponsored by the Arab Family Organization, Shaikha Fareeha said the Arab Woman Code would promote social and educational roles of Arab family. She said the State of Kuwait has been implementing social projects and initiatives aimed at improving role of the family.
Saleh Al-Nahham, KSIF vice-chairperson, said Kuwait's participation in the launch reflected its keenness on protecting Arab family and promoting its social role. Kuwait, he said, was actively contributing to boosting the relation between the Arab individual and social surrounding. Al-Nahham said KSIF has backed several initiatives since its launch in 2003, including the Ideal Mother and Ideal Family awards.
The Arab Woman Code aims at promoting role of women in Arab world, empowering them and spreading the culture of sound raising methods, KUNA reported.
