ISIS militants launched an opposite attack using a car bomb, on Baza'ah town, east al-Bab city, followed by an attack from the organization fighters, where they managed to regain control of  Baza'ah,  after a few hours of the control of the Turkish forces "The shield of the Euphrates" on the town.

US-backed Kurdish and Arab fighters announced on Saturday a new phase in their campaign for the Islamic State group's Syrian stronghold of Raqa, but said they needed more weapons to win.

The Syrian Democratic Forces launched their campaign to capture the city last November and have taken some ground further up the Euphrates Valley but are still some distance away.

"Coalition forces provided our Arab contingent with vehicles, but the numbers are very small and we hope they will increase in the coming days," SDF spokeswoman Talal Sello said on Saturday.

Washington announced about delivering, for the first time,  armored vehicles to the Arab factions within SDF. The spokesman for SDF Talal Selo said, Saturday, that coalition forces provided our forces with vehicles, noting that "the number is too small and we hope they will increase in the coming days.

Additional equipment that had been requested was not arriving quickly enough, Local SDF commander Rojda Felat said. She mentioned also that the weapons they need to liberate Raqa are tanks, Dushkas (heavy machine guns) and armoured vehicles.
