Minister of Energy Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received here today the Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain Li Chen, and discussed with him ways to strengthen bilateral ties.
The Ambassador congratulated Dr. Mirza on the Royal trust bestowed on him by re-appointing him as an Energy Minister.
Dr. Mirza praised the outstanding Bahraini-Chinese, and reviewed with him the fruitful outcomes of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's recent historic visit to China
He lauded the steady growth of bilateral cooperation, especially in the fields of oil, gas and electricity.
He also reviewed with him the main infrastructure projects being implemented by the energy sector in the kingdom.
The Chinese Ambassador thanked the Minister for the meeting, expressing readiness to enhance the existing bilateral cooperation in energy fields.
