He said that officials asked for his personal details, along with a contact number for management at JSM Béjaïa. Boucherit says Algerian officials told him that he is among the top 40 players elegible for national team selection, and the current shortage in Algeria\'s midfield is likely to increase his chances of playing. The midfielder praised the performance of the young players in the African Cup of Nations, but said the lack of experience and cutting edge cost the team in final third.
