Hala told her views on the matter saying: “Of course we want to stop the strikes and demonstrations taking place in Egypt, but without tragic losses of innocent lives.” According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, Hala added: “I feel great sorrow at every drop of blood that\'s shed from Egyptian citizens.” In addition, the patriotic actress stressed her extreme anger at the acts of vandalism and the burning of churches around Egypt saying: “Why are our churches being burned?
